In May 2020, a new shed was installed in the rear yard, and in June 2020, a whole roof replacement with two venting skylights was completed. In March 2022, new laminate flooring was installed in the first floor's kitchen, dining, and living room areas. In June 2024, the water heater was replaced, and in September 2024, an Iron/Sulfur filtration filter was incorporated into the water treatment system.

The community was established in the 1970s. It comprises second homes, primary homes, and some vacation rentals. The primary summer amenities include a beach and community pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The initial opening of the pool and lake is on weekends until Father's Day weekend when it switches to daily opening until Labor Day, weather permitting. Other amenities include basketball, tennis, pickleball courts, picnic areas, horseshoe, and bocce courts. Lake activities include swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and electric-powered boats. Any equipment used on the lake does require annual registration. Under community rules, insured and registered golf carts and ATVs are welcome, and the registrations are renewed annually.

A community clubhouse operated as a separate entity/private club serves food and alcohol. You must be a member to purchase alcohol. A trash drop-off area is located within the community for convenience. Easy access to the PA Turnpike NE Extension on Rt 903 for points North and South, and Interstate 80 is located within 20-25 minutes for points east or via the Turnpike. Historic Jim Thorpe, known for its festivals, restaurants, and shops, is a short drive away. Skiing at Big Boulder and Jack Frost are in Lake Harmony. Several walking trails are all within an easy drive in various state park venues. Travel times with moderate traffic to the Philadelphia and NYC Metropolitan areas are typically within 90-120 minutes. Properly registered and licensed short-term rentals are currently permitted and require a Penn Forest Township registration and license before community registration can be completed.
